Decoy readers purpose-built for physical penetration testing. Stealth and MFAS devices capture credential data and store it locally for later import into ATLAS. They support HID, Indala, AWID, Avigilon, Paxton, and more. HID variants are multiCLASS capable, and MFAS models capture PIN data in addition to card data.

Capabilities:

  • Captures credentials when users attempt to badge
  • MFAS captures PIN data
  • Configurable stealth card response
  • WiFi sync to ATLAS
  • Battery or wired power options

ATLAS checks firmware versions and shows warnings for outdated devices. Firmware updates are performed via the device’s web interface:

  1. Tap Web App on the device card
  2. Opens the device’s administration interface
  3. Follow on-device update instructions

  • Network Requirements — Reader and ATLAS device must be on the same WiFi network
  • Card Storage — Devices store cards locally until imported
  • Wipe After Import — Consider wiping device storage after importing to prevent duplicate imports
  • Mission Signature — Use wired connections when stealth is critical (avoid radio emissions)
